RE: City of Mount Vernon Transfer Tax Change

Please be advised, effective January 1, 2024 that the City of Mt. Vernon has increased their Transfer Tax rate from 1% to 1.5% and has lowered their exemption level from $100,000 to $50,000.

All deeds dated January 1, 2024 or later will be subject to the increased tax rate.
